We love autumn. A time for change. The light changes, the temperature changes and the colours around us change. It's been a funny old year and seeing customers [finally] get out on the water brings us great delight. We hope that your can remain on the water a little longer so you can make the most of this wonderful season.
Organisations such as RORC and JOG have done an amazing job in putting on Covid-19 safe racing and you our customers have got out competing again. Here's a little bit about what we have noticed.
We have seen customers adapting their boats to the 'new normal' and now with the season drawing to a close it's time to look to 2021 and what the season will bring. We can talk about what we have learned from this year, and whilst there's no crystal ball, we feel we are certainly in a better position to face what may come our way.
Is it fair to say that this year has been about taking part? Of course, for some winning is what it's all about, but for many we have noticed it's been about sailing short-handed, bringing the family on board, and people taking on new roles on the boat. This has changed the dynamics for many.
Major events across the UK and further afield have been cancelled and we have been been forced to stay closer to home. With a reduced racing schedule, racing boat owners have not been upgrading their sail inventories and sails have dropped down the priority list. Not for us though, as we know sails are an investment in your on-water experience, therefore we have continued to develop our sails and look at ways to make them easier to handle when sailing short handed or with less experience on board. We dedicate our design time to making sure you, our customers, have a greater experience on the water.
You may compete to win. You may be looking for sails with ease of handling. You may think I can 'make do.' We understand your predicament. But let us take you back to when you brought your sailing boat. Think back to why you brought it and your goals, and then come talk to our team about how we can make those goals a reality.
Take advantage of our September offer, running from today through to 30th September we are offering customers VAT FREE sails. Head on over to our quote page and get a tailor-made quotation for new sails for your boat. The price you see ex-vat is the price you pay inc. vat during the offer.
